Disability North - September to October 2019

During September and October 2019 Disability North, a registered charity which promotes inclusion, independence and choice for disabled people and their families hosted the Invalid Carriage Registers exhibition No Passengers Allowed. On the 17th of October Mckeown during presented a talk on the history of UK invalid carriages and the work of the ICR, with volunteer Kathryn Barnett and partner Andy who set up and installed the exhibition. Academics from Sunderland University were amongst the audience along David Cook. Lord Mayor of Newcastle, with ICR HLF cakes and tea provided. Exhibition dates 17-9-19 to 17-10-19.
